THE CATHEDRAL: The Santa Iglesia Catedral, Seville’s breathtaking cathedral, was built on top of the largest Almohad mosque in ninth century Seville, erected by King Abd-al-Rahman II, on the same site as the earlier Byzantine Basilica de San Vicente.
The old mosque’s minaret has been conserved, now the Cathedral’s nearly 100 meter-tall bell tower, crowned with a weathervane called the Giraldillo, from which it takes its name. The Patio de los Naranjos was also preserved – it used to be the courtyard where necessary ablutions were performed before entering the mosque.
THE ALCAZAR (Reales Alcázares) of Seville is the oldest royal palace in continuous use as a royal residence in the world. Even today, it is still the official residence of the king and queen of Spain when they come to visit Seville.

JEREZ ALCAZAR
The Alcazar, from XII century, is placed on the southeast corner of the wall that surrounded the city, entering the city from Puerto de Santa María.
The Mosque has a rich history which goes back to eight centuries ago. A patio at the entry, a tower or alminar to call to pray, a small patio for the ritual ablutions and the pray room with a niche or mihrab that shows Mecca’s way.
We can also find the Villavicencio Palace, from XVIII century, and the Arabian Baths placed inside the building.

JEREZ CATHEDRAL
Jerez cathedral, built in the XVIII century over the Main Almohade Mosque, is a mixture of three architectonic styles: Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassic. Separated from the church it’s located the tower, element that remains from the old building.

The guided tours around the bodegas are an age old custom for Domecq. Nearly three centuries ago these Cellars opened their doors to let the world see inside and allow it to discover the secrets and mysteries of Sherries and Brandies de Jerez. We offer guided visits in Spanish, English and German, consisting in the showing of a video, a guided tour through our ageing wineries and a tasting of our Sherries and Brandies. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the end of the visit, our visitors have the chance of buying some wines or souvenirs in our shop.
The patios, buildings, cellars and every corner in Pedro Domecq are proof enough of the craftsmanship, architecture and urbanism of the Sherry Trade at the beginning of the 18th Century and constitute a superbous setting for hosting event.

The show
The show "Those Amazing Dancing Andalusian Horses" is a fully fledged equestrian ballet, featuring choreography adapted from the training exercises of classical dressage and doma vaquera, with traditional Spanish music and costumes which date back to the 18th century. You really have to see it to believe it: horses and riders in a celebration of artistic creativity, in an explosion of harmony and colour - all to the evocative beat of music.

El ESPARRAGAL:
It has been known since the time of the Tartessos, in the Bronze Age whose remains are preserved in the ruins of El Castrejón (thermal baths). In Roman times it became very important as part of Itálica and was crossed from north to south by the road which used to join this settlement with Emerita Augusta of which some remains are still preserved, such as walls and thermal baths next to the fountain which are still in use in El Castrejón.
ANDALUSIAN WORKSHOPS: The participants will have the opportunity to discover the arts and traditions most popular of Spain from the hand of a genuine craftsman and professionals of the flamenco world.
